Since leaving goolwa la Maison riviere, I've had the worst experience. I booked and paid for three nights for our anniversary, but Kathy has done nothing but abuse and harass me. She's now trying to charge me for bottles and cans that my partner and I consumed during our stay, and accused me of denting her electricals, which I never did. Definitely would not recommend. A terrible end to the stay.

Everything we could have wanted was already provided in the cottage, which was full of luxurious touches. The location was great and the ambiance fantastic. Roger and Kathy were wonderful hosts, with plenty of local knowledge and help. From check-in to departure, we felt as if we were in paradise. It was beyond magical, and we fell in love all over again. We'll definitely return.

The cottage's charming French country decor adds to its appeal. It's a beautiful little place in a great location, set up with everything you'd need for a self-catering holiday. The breakfast provisions were excellent.
