We’ve stayed at the Abbey several times over the years, before and after the renovation. It was good before and is even better now. Having stayed in motels all over Australia, I’d say it’s the gold standard. The rooms are large, with plenty of space for luggage, a comfy sofa, and an extra-large TV. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is roomy with top-notch fittings, and there’s a small kitchen sink. The appliances are high-brand, not cheapies like in most motels. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the location makes it easy to get to and from. We highly recommend the Abbey.

The team’s service was next level. Management were warm and welcoming, and even drove us personally to our function, which made the evening much easier. We had a wonderful stay at the Abbey Motor Inn in Grafton. The rooms felt fresh and modern, and were spotless from top to bottom, the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. You can tell management take pride in keeping things to a high standard. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and everything felt new and thoughtfully arranged. The atmosphere was calm and inviting. Highly, highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

The room was quiet, with comfy beds and a fresh, nicely renovated feel. Everything was very clean and tidy. A great motor inn.

I booked at the last minute, and the owner operator was happy to work around what I needed. The place was clean, conveniently located, and good value for money. Thanks, I’ll be back next time I’m in Grafton.

Dinner spots nearby were an easy walk, and the room itself was lovely and clean, with good facilities.
