Bruce has made the lodge and its surroundings a lovely place to unwind. I also appreciated finding a few essential food items there for arrival. It’s the kind of place I’d recommend to friends.

Bruce was the standout for me. When my nudge bar partly came loose on the dirt Old Grattai Rd, he came out after dark and got my car driveable until I could have it properly fixed. He’s one of the nicest people I’ve met, an absolute top bloke. The cabin was hand built by Bruce and really cool. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again. It’s one of my favourite places, so don’t pass it up if you’re in the Mudgee region.

We’ve stayed here twice now. The location is amazing, and the place is clean and well presented. Highly recommended!

Peaceful, dog friendly, and beautifully put together. The building has a lovely look, with meticulous woodwork.
