Dynamite Bay was the one thing I liked about our stay. The room was so cramped there was barely space around the double bed, and the little suitcase platform almost didn’t fit. There was a mini fridge, but not much else. It felt like somewhere to sleep under a roof, not a pleasant place to stay. No soap either, only body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Spiders covered the ceiling, and one crawled on me while I was asleep. The bathroom floor smelled strongly of urine. I love Green Head’s quaint little town, but I can’t honestly recommend this motel. We booked last minute and were glad to find the only room available across Green Head and Jurien Bay, but that didn’t make the stay worthwhile.

We were so unhappy with the room that we left after one night, even though we’d booked two, and went back to Perth. For only $80 more a night, we got a luxury hotel at the casino. Here, it was $200 a night for a tiny room, a rock-hard bed, a window that wouldn’t shut, and hot water that was barely warm. The fridge was tiny, there was no complimentary water or milk for coffee, and noise came through from the adjoining rooms. There was no toilet paper in the toilet and no soap in the shower. I’d never recommend booking here. It feels like you’re being ripped off. If I could have left no stars, I would have.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The beach is just across the road, and the food was nice too. Thanks to everyone, I’d happily stay again.

We only came for a meal, not a stay, and the service alone was outstanding and so friendly. My fish and chips were really good. The batter was light, crisp and full of flavour, and the salad tasted fresh. The chips were lovely too. We’d give more than five stars if we could.

The soups were amazing, and the crayfish roll tasted fresh. I really enjoyed the curry too. With lovely staff, clean bright rooms and wifi, this place made a great stop on the route from Kalbarri. The location’s great and the food was super delicious. I’m glad we didn’t take the older reviews at face value. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would come back.
