The first contact with the motel was really positive. We were coming into town early for a funeral, and the woman I spoke with went out of her way to help arrange an early check-in. At reception, though, things were completely different. The woman there was cold and told me firmly that she was the boss and only she could authorise an early check-in. I tried to explain, but she wouldn't listen. Thank you for making an already stressful situation even harder.

We had a great stay at Mackellar motel. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the covered parking was a nice start. After a day of driving, the spa bath room was a great way to unwind. The room was clean and had an iron, which was a nice touch. The RSL is a short walk away for dinner, and we enjoyed the lovely continental breakfast even though we arrived late because the clocks had changed. A great stay.

The managers or owners, I'm not sure which, were very welcoming. It's a well-run country town motel with clean, well-equipped rooms that are a good size. Breakfast was perfect, a solid three-egg omelette to start the day. I'd have no hesitation about staying here again.

We've stayed here three or four times with our little dog. It's a lovely motel, clean, neat and quiet, just right at the end of a long day on the road. The continental breakfast in the front courtyard was a great way to start the next day. We'll be back!

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was a standout, spacious and with excellent water pressure. The rooms were stylish, modern and impeccably clean. I only wish I'd had more time to enjoy everything the hotel offers. It exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be back!
