We booked at the last minute and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was the standout, such a good mattress and pillows that I got the best night's sleep in ages. The place was clean, and the cleaning staff were friendly and lovely. From the warm welcome at reception to being right in the middle of this magnificent village, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you.

The room was spotless and quiet, with great beds and everything well appointed. We were welcomed quickly and felt at home, and the motel's setup makes it easy to enjoy everything central Hahndorf has to offer. The shower head was a real letdown. It's a water-saving one, and it took ages to rinse off the lovely shower gel provided. Even so, it's a wonderful place to stay and relax.

At $369 a night, the king deluxe was a very basic room with a bed, TV and coffee pod. It felt about $200 overpriced for what we got, and I was really underwhelmed. It was clean, but that was about the only positive. The lights outside the window stayed on all night and the curtains didn't block them. The bathroom door opened right into the shower screen, with a cramped toilet behind it. We couldn't find reception when we drove in, and two other couples were lost too. There were no signs, and you have to go back out to the main road. Service at reception was very ordinary as well.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and we had room service each day. What stood out just as much was how warmly the staff treated my husband and me. They made us feel genuinely valued and cared for. The hotel is right in the heart of the main street, and we liked it so much we've already booked our next getaway.

Room 51 was a great size, with a lovely new mattress, and the rooms were very clean. The location makes it easy to walk everywhere, and the front of house team are amazing. They're in the middle of upgrading things and have done a wonderful job so far.
