We rented two Halls Gap townhouses for nine family members and our dog. They felt like proper townhouses, with big bedrooms, full size kitchens and everything we needed. One even had a handy BBQ. In the evening, hundreds of kangaroos gather just over the back fence, sometimes with a few emus, and the view of the range at sunrise is spectacular. It’s about a half hour walk into Halls Gap proper, or a short drive. The location still works really well: the excellent pub is two minutes away on foot, and there’s a coffee shop at the caravan park about five minutes away. A great rural retreat with amenities close by. Highly recommend.

A peaceful spot with a great atmosphere. It had all the amenities to make the stay comfortable for adults and children. I’d definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The wildlife hopping past and views over the Grampians made this a perfect spot to relax with a glass of local wine. It’s also within walking distance of the pub, which was a big win. We had an amazing stay at Halls Gap Escape. Jenny and Ian were excellent hosts, and the apartment was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It’s dog friendly too!

We enjoyed exploring the Grampians and staying here. The cabins were very clean, and the staff were courteous and helpful. I'd highly recommend it.
