Shorelines 31

The view from Shorelines 31 is stunning, and in the early morning it’s so quiet you can hear only birds. I’ve stayed in Hamilton Island apartments six times, and this has been the nicest so far. The buggy with roll-down weather doors was great. I do plan to book it again, though a few issues with the property management kept it from a five-star stay. The coffee machine was locked until I descaled it, and it was full of used pods. The dishwasher seemed never to have been cleaned. After a cycle, the dishes were still covered in food and grease, so I had to deep clean and degrease the machine. The living area air-conditioning leaked badly enough that we had to put towels down. It must have been obvious to cleaners, since they’d put a wooden serving tray under it to catch water. There was no bath plug either, but the company eventually found one. I didn’t want to clean up other people’s mess on my holiday.
