Hastings Park Apartment 8

We stayed for seven days and couldn’t get out of it because we’d paid in advance. Our apartment was noisy, with one of the busiest streets right below, and it had mold problems. The manager wasn’t happy when we raised it, as she was dealing with flooding that morning. Later, she offered us another apartment, but we could hear people in the next room because it was an interconnecting two-room apartment with a section closed off. The male manager who assisted us and the receptionist were understanding and sympathetic.

I sent an online request to book a long weekend and heard nothing for 36 hours, so I called. I eventually reached someone who said she hadn’t made it to the office yet, although it was after 10am. She said there was availability and that she’d email the booking details. After three follow-up calls and leaving messages, I’m still waiting for the email or even a return call. Very poor customer service. I took my business across the road to Netanya and booked a rooftop penthouse overlooking main beach.

The gardens are a disgrace. I’m amazed the council hasn’t complained. Hastings Park is bringing all of Noosa down, and I can’t understand why they don’t hire a gardener. I’ve stayed in plenty of places and never seen anything like it. I won’t stay here again until they sort it out.

The location is amazing and the views are stunning. Lauren looked after us VERY well. We’ll be back.
