Beach Break at Hat Head

The host was really accommodating, and we had a great stay at the Hat Head beach cottages. The location was lovely too. We're already thinking about our next trip!

Jane and her husband Michael were fabulous hosts and made our stay feel special. We loved Beach House 4, a clean, cosy spot for the two of us, with beaches very close by. The king-size bed was so comfortable, we had the best two nights' sleep we'd had in ages. There's also a new upmarket supermarket just around the corner. Thanks so much to you both, we'd highly recommend this lovely find.

Jane made everything easy with fantastic, efficient communication, and all the little extras helped make the stay really comfortable. Our family of four spent five days in Beach Cottage 1 and had a perfect time. There are two living areas, so everyone could spread out, plus three good-sized bedrooms with super-comfortable mattresses. The kitchen was spotless and very well equipped with quality utensils, and the large bathroom had a brilliant hot shower. We especially liked the covered area out front, with a clean, good-quality BBQ, a sturdy outdoor table and chairs for dinners and board games, and room for four bikes and surfboards. At high tide, it was just through the front gate to clear, warm water. We can't wait to come back.

The house was clean, tidy and spacious, with all the essentials, including air conditioning, a dishwasher and washing machine. There was plenty of room for six of us, including four teenagers and all their surfboards, fishing and snorkelling gear. The location was ideal for paddleboarding down the pristine creek and out to the beach, and the bowling club, with meals and entertainment, is a short walk away. We really enjoyed our break and will return. Jayne was a perfect host.
