Our dogs could stay and be part of the wedding, which meant a lot to us. I had my wedding weekend at Hawley House in February 2025, and it felt magical. Sophie and the team had everything so well organised and were so professional that I could relax with all my guests and enjoy the occasion. Sophie was a fantastic host, and I can’t fault a thing. The charming, clean rooms and lovely breakfast each morning were great too. I really felt like a princess in my homestead castle. I can’t recommend them enough.

The beach across the road is perfect, and we’ll definitely be back. It’s such a relaxing hotel and grounds, with plenty to explore in the gardens. Soph is a wonderful host, and it’s a fantastic place if you’re travelling with dogs.

We had a great meal here: cauliflower soup followed by grilled barramundi and fresh vegetables. We ordered dinner beforehand, and the meals were exceptional. Sophie’s service was warm and welcoming. The hotel itself is delightfully quirky, an old house and stables full of character and charm. Our room had everything we needed, even a microwave, and the heating was fabulous. We’d stay again.

Taking our bikes worked out well, and we explored the coastline on the bike track all the way to Squeaking Point. We also loved our night at Hawley House with Sophie and her German Shepherds. There was lots to do around the property, from walking around the lake to feeding the horses, ferrets and chickens. Breakfast was delicious, with a tasty cooked option and plenty to choose from in the continental spread. We look forward to coming back soon.

Breakfast each morning was a ripper, and the location made it easy to get around. The whole place felt relaxed and welcoming. The staff were genuinely friendly and happy to help. A great place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, enjoyable visit.
