The unit was easy to get to and well looked after, with on-site parking. It had all the basics covered, from tea and coffee to crockery, pots, pans and a washing machine. I’d happily stay here again.

Across the road from a gorgeous beach, and the place felt both cosy and a bit luxurious. We stayed in unit 6 over Easter and loved the little touches: kids’ Easter books and decorations, plus chocolates and a personalised thank-you in the fridge. The beds were really comfortable, and there were games, books, milk, coffee, cleaning supplies, sunscreen and beach towels. They’d also left a handy list of places to eat and things to do. It was spotless, open and full of natural light. Sarah was lovely to deal with and very helpful. We’ll definitely come back on a future trip.

Sarah was a wonderful host. She even clipped back some palm fronds that were hitting the gutters, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The clean, comfortable unit had everything you need for a self-contained stay, including milk in the fridge. It’s close to Urangan shops and eateries, and the location is excellent. We loved staying here and would come back. Thanks, Sarah.

The managers were fantastic to communicate with, and Unit 1 was clean and nicely presented. The beds and couches were comfortable, with extra blankets, fans and air con. There were lots of useful extras, including laundry liquid, rubbish bags, KitKats, a full litre of milk, individual breakfast packs, basic condiments and toiletries in the shower. The main issue was hot water: it ran out after one or two showers, which doesn’t work well for four people. The long path from the car park to the front door is also very dark and could use lighting. Upgrading the hot water would help too. Still, it was a lovely stay and I’d recommend it.

We stayed three nights in the cottage and loved it. It’s modern, cosy, really clean and organised, with its own parking spot. Even though it’s on the road, the back cottage was so quiet. The beach is just across the road and restaurants are an easy walk away. Sarah and her partner have thought of everything, including a fully equipped kitchen. Sarah is so lovely, and this was our favourite place we’ve stayed in Hervey Bay. We’ll be back.
