We were very happy with our three nights at Central Hotel Hobart. Our room was clean and much larger than we expected, with room service replacing the towels and toiletries each day. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location puts you right in the centre of Hobarts CBD, close to restaurants, shops, nightlife and the bus terminal, with Salamanca precinct just a short stroll away. Great value for money, and we’d definitely recommend it and return. Thanks for a really nice Hobart stay.

The hotel is right in the centre of Hobart CBD, with markets, shops and restaurants all close by. I was in town for a sporting event and found it easy to get around on foot. The area felt very safe, though it’s still sensible to be cautious in a modern city. My room and ensuite were both massive, and there was complimentary tea and coffee. Cafes, takeaways and restaurants are just outside. I didn’t get to try the downstairs pub and bistro, but the menu looked brilliant.

Scott, Sas and Sharon really looked after us, and the location was fantastic for getting to all the attractions. We had a great experience at Central Hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the mashed potato was a standout.

The rooms were basic, but they were all we needed, and the service was good. Check in was easy. There’s no parking at the hotel, though undercover parking is nearby, and it’s close to the CBD.
