Horsham Riverside Caravan Park

The park and service were amazing, and the facilities were good: kitchen, playground, water play area, BBQ, and a viewing deck. Shops, the botanic garden, and the aquatic center are all easy to get to. We booked an ensuite site, but it was on gravel, which made pitching the tent tricky because the pegs were hard to get in.

We stayed one night in a cabin in April 2026, and enjoyed the walk beside the river. The cabin was comfortable, neat, and tidy, and we could park right next to it. The whole park was organised, clean, and tidy, with warm, excellent service. We’ve stayed at many G'Day / Discovery Parks on our road trips, and enjoyed this one. Very central, right on the river, and well recommended. Thank you.

We woke up ankle deep in water when it was time to pack up. The waste outlet was blocked too, which didn’t help. We knew rain was coming, and the site already had some water lying on it when we were sent there. They said no other site was available, but one two sites up stayed vacant from when we arrived until we left. Why wasn’t that offered? They were still happy to take our money knowing how the site was in the rain. Maybe it should be closed until it’s fixed. We’d already been moved on arrival because another booking wanted a concrete drive-through site. When I spoke to reception the next morning, the receptionist got defensive and said I should have asked to move. I was very disappointed with both the site and how she spoke to me.

We were lucky to get a riverfront caravan spot, with lovely views and public seats nearby. There’s also a pop-up restaurant a short walk away. The shops are close, and the park is near a walking and riding path. Horsham is bike friendly, and the amenities were clean. Highly recommend.
