The pool, spa and sauna were bloody great, and the location was great too. It is a bit old and rough around the edges, but it's not priced as a premium place, so you sort of expect that compared with the other options on the mountain. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There's ski hire on site, though we'd already sorted what we needed off the mountain earlier because we didn't know.
The apartments were spacious, and the pool was a cool extra. My friends and I had a once-in-a-lifetime year 10 ski trip at Mt. Hotham, and stayed at the alpine heights apartments. It was great accommodation, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.
Unit 19 is a cosy little studio with a balcony and great views. The kitchen is well equipped, with a large fridge and a four-burner stove, though there's no oven. We visited between Christmas and NYE, and it took a bit of wandering to find the place. The hallways were very dark, with nearly all the shared-area lights turned off.
A lovely escape from everyday life, with cosy chalets and stunning mountain views in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
After a long day linking turns on the slopes, the top-notch spa was perfect. Hotham Central, the snow bus and the lifts are all just a quick walk away.
