We paid $3400 for 12 people to stay at 24 lawlers apartment Mount Hotham, a very premium price, and the place wasn't as advertised or promised on air bnb. There was no heating when we arrived, and we had to sort it out over a FaceTime video call by resetting things. There was no shower gel, no towels, and the hand wash pumps didn't work because they were filled with water. For 12 people, she left us 4 rolls of toilet paper. That's hats off to her. The biggest issue was the parking that was supposed to be included. Lisa couldn't provide it, despite us trying to reach her from outside the apartment in the snow. It took nearly 2 hours to get her on the phone. We later heard she does the same with every customer over parking. Hotham village staff know the story and get the fallout from customers, so they stopped helping her customers. We saw other apartment guests being helped while we had to carry all our bags and children 300 m up a steep hill, after already waiting 2 hours. The return trip was the same. She showed no respect for our time or money. The first number she gave us was wrong, and Air bnb seemed unable to help. Don't trust or believe what the listing says about this particular property, 24 lawlers, hosted by Lisa. Don't try your luck. Better to book through alpine resorts village.

I paid $3490 for two nights at 24, Lawlers apt, booked through a platform last week. With the current host managing it, I wouldn't recommend staying at this property.

The mountain views were superb, and inside there was a spacious hall with a comfortable sofa set. We were lucky to find accommodation in the middle of August. The clean, cosy apartment suited four people well, with a queen bed and a set of bunks. The kitchen had everything needed to make our own meals, and there was also a washing machine and dryer for a longer stay. The toilet and bathroom were separate.

Two months after we booked the three-bedroom place, the booking agent said we'd need to move to the week before or the booking would be cancelled because of a "system error". I asked for the week after our original dates instead and haven't had a reply for two weeks. Terrible agent.
