Valley Cabins By The Creek

The cabins are basic but comfortable, and having laundry facilities was handy. It’s a lovely farm setting with a view across the valley, though the cabins are close together and share a yard, so there isn’t much privacy. It was difficult to let the dogs run around or even take them out to toilet because other guests’ dogs would bark.

A serene spot for a weekend away. The view from the balcony is glorious, with cows and horses to watch. It’s got everything you need and is super comfy.

We couldn’t spot any platypuses in the creek this time, but the peaceful countryside made for a lovely stay. The modern cabin had everything we needed, and we sat on the deck with cheese and crackers while watching the beautiful sunset. Thanks for a great stay!

Waking up to the beautiful location and view was a real plus, and the cabin was clean and modern. I can see it suiting a couple looking for a quiet getaway, but we weren’t a couple, so the layout was a problem for us. The second bedroom in the two-bedroom cabin is a double bunk in the hallway, just outside the main bedroom and beside the bathroom. There’s no cupboard, table, or room to put things in that sleeping area. The small modern bathroom has no shower door, so water went everywhere, and there was nowhere to hang towels, leaving the bath mats very wet. There are no blinds on the front door, which meant the person sleeping in the hallway couldn’t block the morning light. Also, the driveway was a bit deep for my little Suzuki Swift, and the strip of grass down the middle scraped the car’s underside the whole way.
