La Mer – Centrally Located – Free Wifi

The quiet neighbourhood and private setting were nice, and the check-in staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. But the bedrooms get a lot of light through the roller blinds, so don't expect a sleep-in. The place felt a little tired and lacklustre, especially after being told we needed to bring our own linen. Some dishes were stained and had to be cleaned before use, there were no tea towels, no tea or coffee, just one rubbish bag, and no shower soap. There were no ocean views either. It felt like lockdown had given the owners an excuse to skip the extras. It may still be good value for a group, family or friends, but I wouldn't personally book again. There are plenty of other places in Inverloch for a more hospitable stay.
