The views over the dam from the bedrooms and living area were beautiful, and we ate every meal on the balcony overlooking them. Tom and his family were lovely and informative, and we loved Mowamba Lodge. The whole place felt like a home rather than holiday accommodation, with a huge living area and spacious bedrooms. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the furnishings, linen, appliances, and other items were new and top quality. We're keen to return in another season, since all four seasons would bring different activities. They now have fans and air conditioning for summer.

Tom knows Jindabyne and snow well, and he's a great host. The lodge is beautiful and quiet, just a short drive from town. It really felt like a home away from home, with comfortable beds, hot showers, warm rooms, a roaring fire, and an awesome breakfast. The mini half pipe is great for down days. We're looking forward to the new summer activities and can't wait to come back. A+.

Tom and his family, who manage the place, gave exceptional service, and the location is beautiful. The guest house felt warm and welcoming, with a wonderfully equipped kitchen, and was great for children. My twin toddlers loved playing with the baby lambs and farm dogs, exploring the grounds, and spotting native wildlife, including kangaroos and wombats. Really couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

The river right by Mowamba River Lodge makes it a great fishing spot in summer, and you can see it from the lodge. In winter it's right next to the snow. It's an awesome retreat and one of my favourite places to holiday.
