Jugiong Motor Inn

The grassy areas were perfect for Dixie our wonderdog, and the room was comfortable and nice. We came across this pet friendly hotel on Facebook, just two minutes off the highway, and what a find. There's a friendly country feel, good meals and cold drinks. The lovely lady who checked us in also told us about a swimming hole just across the road. Absolute bliss. We'll definitely stay again.

A great place to stop with two big garden areas for animals or kids. The rooms look like the pictures. They're nothing fancy, but they have everything you need, and there's a small, reasonable dog cleaning fee. Call ahead to book if you're bringing animals. It's dog friendly, serves solid meals until 9pm, and we'll be stopping here again.

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt I had to after stopping overnight on our trip from qld to Geelong. The rooms are basic but really clean, and the pub and staff were awesome. The meals were the icing on the cake, especially the best parmies we'd had in a long time. The mushroom gravy on the side was spot on, and the kids were happy too. We were impressed with the rooms, service and food. Cheers guys, I'd recommend it to anyone passing through.

The pub meal was the highlight. Big plates came out quickly and were really good quality. It has a great local atmosphere when the farmers are in. They were respectful, happy to chat, and there was little or no swearing, which is worth commending these days. We slept incredibly well, the best night of my three week holiday. The beds were very comfortable, though the rooms are a bit basic, which is fine for a stopover. The Motor Inn sits behind a hill that cuts the Hume noise, unlike the exposed free camp up the road. There are nice views and animals in a nearby paddock too. Service was really friendly. The posh place up the road might suit some, but it costs $$$. This was a top spot for the night.
