There wasn’t enough room to park a boat at the rear units, and the managers’ communication was awful. They called from different numbers each time, which felt shifty. The unit was dirty when I arrived, the vacuum didn’t work, and when I pulled it apart to clean it, I found mould inside. The shower was loose, hanging on by one screw and moving when I turned it on. There was no power on site or backup power, so I had to drive home. When I asked for a refund for one night, they refused and blamed extra cleaning, even though the place hadn’t been clean on arrival. I found the whole experience a circus and wouldn’t stay here if you don’t want to feel ripped off and lied to. You might even catch a case of mould poisoning.

The location is fantastic, and everything you need is there. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean, though the couch wasn’t. The units are okay for the price, but very dated and could use a paint job. I did notice new units at the back, so perhaps work is underway.

We enjoyed our two nights enough that I’d definitely stay again. The beach was only about 300 steps away, with nobody else in sight, and town, shops, and the tavern were an easy walk. The accommodation is very dated, like stepping back to the 1950s, but it was clean and had almost everything we needed. There aren’t many power points, so no bedside lamps, and the indoor rattan seats were uncomfortable, with hard boards under the cushions. I gave it four stars because three felt mean, though three and a half would have matched my experience better.

The place was neat, with basic amenities, but there was no Wi-Fi. We were also charged extra for using a blanket and linen from another bed, even though we’d listed the correct number of guests when booking. The terms covered guest numbers, but it would be clearer if they said that the number of guests determines how many beds can be used. We wouldn’t come back.
