We loved being close enough to wander into Gloucester for cafes and shops, while still enjoying those incredible views from the house. The mountains looked amazing over morning coffee and at sunset. Inside, it was welcoming and nicely decorated, with a comfortable layout, quality linen and lovely en suites. The kitchen and pantry were stocked well, so making our own meals was easy. We had a wonderful Easter stay at Kia Ora Retreat.

The beds were amazing, and the pool and carefully kept grounds made the place feel special. We had a girls' weekend here, our first one away together, and it's easily the best place we've stayed. There are five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and the property has wonderful views. We absolutely recommend it and will be back.

We’re certainly coming back. It was a perfect weekend away with family or friends, with five bedrooms that each have their own bathroom, lovely bedding and a beautiful pool. The property and its location are absolutely stunning.
