Apartment 602 at Sebel Kiama

The gym is fantastic, but the room layout was frustrating. The bathroom had no shelves and barely any room on the sink, so it was hard to manage all my things. I paid $400 for a “harbour view” room, but got only glimpses of the harbour at best. I could have accepted a sea view, but a sidelong look at the harbour entry didn’t feel like a harbour view. The official Accor website doesn’t show an actual view photo, which makes it hard to know what you’re booking. I should’ve booked a standard room and sat out on the street.

Third year in a row at the Sebel Kiama, and Room 302 is still the best room in the house. The staff are exceptional, always smiling, and nothing seems too much trouble.

Breakfast with the sunrise over the boat harbour was delightful, and the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. My room was near the rail line, but the double glazed balcony doors did such a good job that I could barely hear the trains. It’s a beautiful room in a stunning location.

The room was great and had a sea view. Staff were very helpful.
