The only awkward part was parking: one free space was available, but getting into it at check-in was tricky. For a second car, paid parking was confusing because the car park app didn't work. Even so, we had a wonderful experience, close to the beach and shops. We really enjoyed the three-bedroom apartment. It was immaculate and stylish, with a fully stocked kitchen and a fridge that was well stocked too.
The apartment was large, but clearly worn in places. A refresh of the furnishings and interior would make it much nicer. We had only one towel each for three days, and there were no staff around to ask for more. We didn't see any staff during our stay. Remember to bring scissors, as there weren't any. The floors left our feet black, though the room was clean overall. Parking was allocated and undercover at the back, which was great, but we had to get the keys first. The pool was nice but small, and the spa wasn't working. The air conditioning wouldn't cool the apartment, and the main bedroom fans didn't work well. The location was great, and we stayed for a weekend in room 112. Check-in is after 3PM. I wouldn't book again: $848 for two nights isn't good value in my opinion.
The biggest disappointment was how the venue handled our concerns, which is why I felt compelled to post this. The rooms weren't set up as advertised, and the beds were different. One bedroom was actually a dining room without any privacy. The air conditioning and fans didn't work properly. We paid for a place that promised a lot but didn't deliver.
The spa bubbles didn't work, and it looked dirty. The plants also need cutting back, there's too much. We couldn't find the garage entry scanner, since it wasn't near the roller door as it is elsewhere. When we arrived, the keys were stuck and we couldn't get into our room, but luckily the lady was there to help. Our one-bedroom unit had a pool view, which was quite loud. That might suit families with kids, but I wouldn't choose that room again.
We stayed two nights in a rooftop apartment and found it very nice and clean. There were no reception staff at all while we were there, so I haven't rated the service. I did leave some shoes behind, but Kelly helped me get in touch with the cleaner and have them returned.
