Montanna Retreat

I never write reviews, but I left the day spa with conjunctivitis. The facial itself was calming, but the "beauty therapist" got some of the "homemade all natural" face mask in my eye, along with a little of another product. My eye was red and irritated, and over the next few hours I developed conjunctivitis. I raised my concern and they refused to take responsibility, trying to persuade me it was an allergic reaction. They did offer to get me the eye drops I needed. The lady said, "there was nothing I did that I couldn't have fixed if you told me". That seemed silly to me, because the mask in my eye was clearly visible. I thought rinsing out the "all natural" product would be enough. I wasn't happy paying $200 and getting a medical condition I'd never had before. My toenail polish was also botched. The place looked lovely and clean, and her age isn't an issue for me, but I felt she could use more up-to-date training in her field, if she'd ever had training. This was one of the less impressive spas I've been to. I wouldn't recommend it.

Dishonest and immoral. The property advertised the wrong price, and I successfully booked at that price. Now, because of their own incompetence, they've cancelled the booking without my consent. Don't assume your booking is safe. They'll cancel if they want more money.

As soon as you arrive, you unwind, and I always leave feeling like a new person. Such a special place. I can't recommend it highly enough! 🌿💕🌿

The woolly blanket by the fire was just what we needed. It's such a beautiful, homely retreat, unlike anything I've seen before. The service was very friendly too. I'd recommend it!
