Mandi and Ian were kind and had the practical details covered, with fresh towels, extra blankets and a heater ready for a cold night. The decor and amenities have that old style motel feel, with old style values. Perfectly adequate.

We have to lower our rating, unfortunately. The room was dusty, the air-con didn't do enough, and parking felt too tight for modern vehicles. Getting out onto the sth. gippsland hwy felt dangerous. There was also junk on the front lawn that should be cleared away.

A very clean, quaint little motel with a retro feel and all the appliances needed for a stay. I'd use it again.

There was dirt, grime and dust across the surfaces, and the bathroom was unclean, with hairs in the sink. I didn't feel confident the bed was clean, so after about 30 minutes I left and drove back to Melbourne. Avoid it. It needs a serious demolition.

The shower was awful because there was almost no water pressure. The AC didn't work, and the heater smelled when switched on. The place was absolutely filthy: floors looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in months, the cutlery tray and some utensils were dirty, and there was a daddy long legs in the bed. Definitely avoid it. Sleep in your car.
