Lismore Gateway Motel

My work colleague and I do FIFO work for the local council, and after trying several places in Lismore, the Gateway Motel is easily the best. The owners and staff take pride in it, and you can tell. The rooms are spotless, the pool is immaculate, and the fridges are stocked with Timtams, water and milk. They keep the coffee topped up, and the communal kitchen and laundry are always clean, with modern appliances. On our first trip up, our work vehicle broke down and we had to check in after hours. The staff were more than accommodating. It's hard to find good, affordable accommodation with such lovely staff. Credit to the owners. We won't stay anywhere else in Lismore.

My room had a balcony looking over the pool and tropical garden, room 13, and the ensuite had a deep bathtub that was lovely to relax in after a long day. The front gardens are lush, and the pool is great. It's a fabulous new hotel, with stylish modern decor and everything you could want in your room. Rooms at the back would be quietest for traffic, though they don't have a view. Thanks, I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in Lismore.

The lady from Midlands UK at reception had an awesome accent, definitely a highlight ✨️. We booked the apartment for our Byron bay trip, about 40 to 50mins away, and it was amazing. I'm partly in a wheelchair and had no trouble moving around. The bed had no bed bugs, and the air con was nice 🤣. I didn't go in the pool, but it looked very nice. One last thing, please keep polishing the tiles, they looked amazing.

I stay at The Gateway Motel whenever I'm in town for work from Coffs Harbour, and I absolutely love it. It's clean and fresh, the reception smells amazing, and the toiletries are divine. I usually get a poolside room with a balcony, which is a lovely spot to catch up on emails. The location is great too. I walk into town to get dinner and bring it back to the balcony, and the communal kitchen is handy for eating in.
