We've stayed here several times and plan to keep coming back. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, decorated with different themes. It's an easy place to stay, and check-in and checkout have been flexible and friendly. The location is great too, less than 100 metres from Lorne's main street and 200 metres from the beach.

The location is very handy, close to the town centre, but the place is nothing special and overpriced. It was clean, though broken or missing blinds let it down. It isn't beachfront as claimed, and the only view was the back of the pub. Maybe the upper floor is different. Read the directions carefully when coming here, as the place isn't called Lorne World!

It's a motel behind a pub, and the noise made it hard for my child to sleep. The DJ was still going at 10pm, cars kept coming and going, and every so often there was the sound of bottles being dropped in the bin. The room smelled damp, the bathroom seemed unfinished, and it felt about as comfortable as camping. It's overpriced and overrated. I don't understand why it gets such good ratings.

We stayed in the 'California', a unique apartment with amazing decor. There was everything we needed and more, including a nice cold bottle of bubbles. Shops and restaurants are just a 2-minute walk away, and we could see the main beach from our little courtyard. Melissa was very friendly and made contactless check-in easy. We had a wonderful break.

Thanks again, Mel and Ben, for looking after us on our second stay. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. This will be our regular place when we visit Lorne. It's so close to everything that we walk almost everywhere during our stays. The styling, comfort and appeal are all done really well.
