Daggoombah Holiday Home Magnetic Island

The elevated back patio was such a peaceful place to sit, with gum trees, kingfishers and kookaburras nearby, and even koalas asleep in the trees. Our family of four adults spent three nights at Daggoombah House, which was spacious, clean and comfortable, with all the comforts of home, including games and picnic gear. Shops, restaurants, the beach and walking trails are all within walking distance, and we used our car to explore further around Magnetic Island. The hosts had thought of everything and made the stay memorable. We'd happily return.

We had a great five nights here, and our Kelpie loved having a big yard to run around in. The balcony has a lovely view, especially with a gin and tonic and the birds for company. For swimming, Alma Bay was busier but didn't need a stinger suit, while Picnic Bay was nearly empty when we went. Bring plenty of mozzie coils if you want to keep the little biters away at night. The kitchen had everything, from a capsule coffee maker to ready-made ice cubes, and we even liked the little air fryer oven more than our one at home. There's a DVD player if regular TV isn't your thing. The gourmet deli down the road was handy for bread, olives and charcuterie. Hope we can come back.

We especially enjoyed sitting outside and watching the wildlife during our four nights at Daggoombah Holiday House. It's a spacious place with everything you need while you're away from home. We had a wonderful stay and will be back.

The bus stop right outside made getting around Magnetic Island so easy, and Daggoombah house had everything we needed and then some. We loved our short break and would like to come back for a longer stay. Thanks!
