Pure Magnetic Villa 10

A comfortable villa with Balinese styling and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking your own meals. It’s across the road from the beach, with Foodworks and the bottle shop a short walk away.

The villas are nice, but the service was very ordinary and I think you can get much better for the money. I specifically asked for beachfront and ended up looking straight at the villa in front of us. The booking agency seemed to know nothing about the place.

The beds and pillows were high quality, so we slept well. The guest shampoo and conditioner were also good quality, but there wasn’t enough to wash long hair even once. For a self-catering place, the kitchen’s microwave accessories were absolutely inadequate. The living room couch could use a refurb too, the cushions are flat.

The door locks can be tricky, so take care not to lock yourself in or out 😁. My wife and I had a beautiful break at Pure Magnetic resort. We stayed in the front unit, a great spot for breakfast in the morning or cocktails in the evening while watching the world go by. Saltwater, the island’s best restaurant, is a short walk away, and Foodworks is nearby for food and drinks. We also went scuba diving with Adrenalin Dive, who picked us up at the marina and took us to the Barrier Reef. I highly recommend both Pure Magnetic resort and Magnetic Island itself.
