Serenity on Magnetic

The kids made good use of the pool, and having our shopping delivered before we arrived worked out well because the owners put the cold items in the fridge and freezer. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the owners very friendly. Everything in Picnic Bay was within walking distance, with a short bus ride to Nelly Bay and the other bays around Magnetic Island. We'd stay again.

That microwave was so good I'm thinking of buying two. The bed was comfy too, and there was a big TV and free WiFi. The unit was spotless, comfortable and well equipped, and I really enjoyed the courtyard, though I forgot to take a photo. The position is excellent, close to the jetty, restaurants and pub, and those chocolates were yummy. A few things could be better: the kitchen cupboards smelled damp and mouldy inside, the lighting was a bit dim, and the sliding glass door had a flimsy lock. A security screen would help. There's no curtain or blind on that glass door, so privacy isn't guaranteed. Apart from those issues, it was a great place to stay. Thank you.

We had a wonderful week and I'm sure we'll come back. My partner and I spent nearly a week here, and the staff gave us helpful travel tips while respecting our space. It's a lovely, quiet spot with the bus nearby, making it a perfect base for day trips around the island. Highly recommend it for a comfortable, peaceful getaway on Maggie.

We've already rebooked for our next trip in June because we loved our stay so much. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. Our unit was immaculate, and Serenity felt true to its name, with lush gardens and paths leading to the accommodation, plus a relaxing pool and covered BBQ area. Highly recommended.
