Unit 10 Sails on Horseshoe

We let the hotel know how our trip was going, but after the car broke down in the middle of nowhere and we missed the ferry on the first day, we had to abandon the two-night stay. When we asked about cancelling, they said it was up to Wotif. Wotif checked with the hotel, which decided to charge us for both nights because the room couldn't be filled and they would lose money. We picked a small hotel thinking we'd be treated like people, but that wasn't how it felt. We know cancellations happen for all sorts of reasons, and sometimes it's just bad luck. After keeping the full accommodation fee, they offered us 15% off a future visit. We won't take them up on it. Every other holiday vendor either refunded us in full or gave us a credit.

Liz was lovely, and the guy dog sitting there was friendly too, though I'm sorry, I can't remember his name. We had a great unit, appreciated the tips, and even got to check in early. The location was fabulous, and the pool was really nice. Would recommend.

We were only steps from the beach, and it was hard to leave. Villa 15 was a wonderful place to stay, with a spotless, spacious apartment and everything well appointed. The manager and staff were lovely and helpful, and the setting made it easy to relax. Thanks for a great experience.

The woman who welcomed us was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a really enjoyable stay, with a super clean place close to everything we needed. It's a great spot for a laid back getaway with friends.
