The pool was in poor shape, with rust spots and water that looked green and unclean. Dust from the construction had settled around it, and it didn't seem suitable to use. The BBQ area couldn't be used either, and tools and materials had taken over the main deck. There was construction noise and disruption throughout our stay, including work on three apartments next to ours. We knew when booking that our requested apartment wasn't available because the main bathroom was being renovated, but no one had prepared us for the extent of the work. Our apartment also had visible dust and dirt in several areas, and there was a pest problem that made the stay uncomfortable and unhygienic. The place fell short on both cleanliness and maintenance. We've been visiting the Island for 20 year+ and wouldn't stay here again. I hope things improve for future guests.

The apartment on the second floor was spacious, clean, and lovely with the sea breeze coming through. Sailfish is well placed for the northern end and inland areas, with Eli Creek less than 10 minutes away by car. Angie and Kyle were fantastic hosts, sharing useful advice about where to go and when. Having managers on site who know the island so well is invaluable. The undercover parking and car wash area came in handy, and the pub, mini shop, and diesel are within walking distance. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

I've been coming here for more than 10 years, and the owners and on-site managers have always been friendly and helpful. They respond quickly and are easy to approach. Whether you need help with the hotel, the island, or fishing, they've got you covered. I'd absolutely recommend a visit.

This was our second stay at Sailfish on Fraser, and we loved spending 7 nights there during the Easter school holidays. The apartments are huge and have everything you need. If anything does come up, your hosts will point you in the right direction without a fuss. A big thanks to the team again. Highly recommend.

Adele and Kevin, the managers, are super lovely and know lots about places to visit around the island. The apartment was clean and tidy, with a full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, and more. It was bright and airy, and the ceiling fans and sea breeze kept it cool. There's a beautiful grassed area and a pool, and you can walk to the beach, shop, and pub. Great location.
