Apollo Bay Cottages

We had a cozy weekend by the fireplace and enjoyed walks and dinners in Apollo Bay and the Otways. The cabins were spotless, comfortable, well maintained, and had a lovely view back towards Apollo Bay, with the foreshore just a quick walk away. Thanks for having us. We’d love to return in warmer weather with the family.

The grounds were a highlight, with a fire pit and seating, a playground, and a little bridge for a peaceful walk around the pond. The cottages are close to Apollo Bay town center, IGA, restaurants, and the beach. We chose one for a winter getaway after seeing them online, and the cottage was adorable, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Getting the key was easy, and Ellie helped us add an extra night before we arrived. After hiking to waterfalls and walking along the Great Ocean Walk, the wood fire inside was just what we needed. The kids loved making smores at the fire pit too. We’d absolutely stay again, maybe in one of the cabins with a hot tub on the deck next time. They looked amazing!

The renovated premium cottages have new beds and bedding, lighting, decks, gazebos, ovens, and range hoods. With on-site management, everything was faultless. We’ve stayed in Apollo Bay quite a few times, and this was the best by far. We enjoyed the open fire, the decking and gazebo overlooking the beautiful eight-acre landscape, and drinks by the lake at the fire pit. We even got some photos of local koala Harry. It’s a one-of-a-kind place that works for a romantic getaway, a family holiday with the playground for kids, or a family reunion or function. Highly recommend it for any occasion.

Stu, the manager, was amazing and so helpful. He arranged a portacot and high chair for our bub, so we didn’t have to stress or bring the kitchen sink, and even ran us into town. The cottage was cozy and just right, and the views and sunrise were incredible and relaxing. We had the best stay and will definitely be back. Thanks so much for the friendly care.
