Acacia Chalets

We really appreciated how quiet and peaceful the chalet was, with a lovely view of the Australian outback bush. It was spotless, and checking ourselves in was smooth and easy. Just 10 minutes' drive from Margaret River town, it felt tucked away while still being convenient. My husband and I spent the long weekend in Chalet 5, and it had everything we needed: a large fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, filtered drinking water, heater, and TV with Netflix. A little slice of paradise away from busy city life. Thanks for a wonderful stay, we'll definitely be back.

The chalet was clean and nicely stocked. A BBQ tool would be handy for cleaning the barbecue, but otherwise I'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks!

I saw that this accommodation offered a "pay when you stay" option, so I booked it. When I cancelled a short time later, I was charged for one night's stay. Hotels.com said the information was clearly stated on its site. I disagree, it was tucked away and only became clear after following a few links. I ended up paying over A$400+ for a night I didn't stay. A few weeks after the original booking dates, another stealthy charge of A$400+ appeared on my credit card, for some random number. I called Acacia Chalet's number. A grumpy old man recognised my name straight away, then said he didn't know me or anything about the charge. I explained the situation while he went into the kitchen to make coffee, and he continued to deny there had been an erroneous charge. He eventually said he'd look into it, then emailed me the next day to say he'd refunded the same amount to my card. I wouldn't trust this hotel's management. I read some of the reviews here about the person in charge, and believe it was the same person. I tried to review the accommodation on hotels.com, where I'd booked it, but couldn't because I hadn't stayed. I'd give a ZERO rating if I could.

I booked all the chalets for my hens, and every room was spacious and clean. They were well equipped with everything we could need, and the location had amazing, picture-perfect views. Definitely planning to come back for a quick getaway.
