The main drawback is the road noise. On weekdays it starts disrupting a sleep-in from around 4am, so it’s fine if you’re an early riser. The barbecue was filthy too, with old food and sticky, long-standing grease. It took us about 30 minutes of burning it off to get it clean. Otherwise, a very nice place.

We had a fantastic stay at the old diary cottage. The garden was so peaceful, with lots of birdlife, and the cottage was beautifully fitted out with quality fixtures.
