The next morning’s breakfast was what I’d call an English breakfast, bacon and eggs with all the trimmings. No need for lunch after that! My wife and I stayed one night at the Vintners Retreat in Margaret River, and it was a really enjoyable visit. We ended the day on the back patio sharing a couple of local reds and a platter of local produce with Glen and Rose. It was such a relaxing time, and we got on like old friends. I’d say it was the best stay we’ve had in this area.

Rose is a lovely host, nothing seems like too much trouble, and our stay at the Vintners Retreat was delightful. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, while the room was spotless and very comfortable. We have nothing but praise for Rose and her home.
