Dinner across the road was convenient, and the meals were lovely and well priced. The little touches in the room stood out, especially the bottled water, body lotion, and shower caps. It felt like the owners wanted guests to be comfortable. Our ground-floor twin room was spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of bench space, and a large bathroom. It also had an iron and ironing board, kettle, toaster, microwave, and a fridge stocked with bottled water and milk. Parking right outside was easy. I’ve stayed in many motels on our travels and, in my opinion, this is one of the best. Thank you to the owners. We’ll definitely be back.

I’ve stayed twice because the staff are so easygoing and accommodating, and the place is affordable. Blue shades is clean and quite nice, with more than just motel rooms. I bring my children, and next time we’re planning to get the loft unit by the pool. Thanks to the team at blue shades for making our stays comfortable and memorable!

Everything was amazing. The rooms were lovely, and there was a pool and a friendly cat. They also supplied milk, tea, and other basics. 67

We spent three nights in a loft room. It could use a little updating, but it was still great, with very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff were great, and the couple managing the motel were lovely and went out of their way to help us. Parking in the back where our room was could be tight and a bit hit and miss. Apart from that, no problems. We’d definitely stay again and recommend this motel.
