Everything needed for a short stay was there, and it was easy to communicate with Management. The room was clean, comfortable and affordable, just right for a stopover. I'd happily stay again anytime and highly recommend it.

The room had its own aircon and bathroom, and I slept well even on a 40-degree day. The motel is clean and convenient, and the staff are amazing. The reception area gets hot, though, and could use a split system.

The room was very clean and looked well maintained, but we didn't get a comfortable night's sleep. Traffic noise kept us awake, and the bed was uncomfortable, with flat pillows and a mattress that sagged to one side. We were cold too, so the electric blankets had to run all night. More attention to guest comfort would help.

We'd travelled from Melbourne to Maryborough for a funeral, and the owner arranged for the cleaners to get our room ready at very short notice. We could check in at 11:30 and prepare for the 1pm service, which was a huge help. The owner said he would also have been happy to upgrade us if we'd booked directly. If you need a place to stay in Maryborough with friendly, great service, I'd strongly suggest getting in touch with Wattle Grove directly.

The owner and staff communicated really well, and they can warm your room before you arrive. This was my second stay, and I can't fault it: warm, clean, with a very comfortable bed. Highly recommend.
