Amelina Cottages

The bathroom hot water was our only real gripe: it swung between scalding and freezing, with only a tiny five-minute window when the temperature was right. Otherwise, the cottages in yarra, Melbourne’s suburban area, were spacious and really nice. The backyard was great for the kids to run around in, and they spent time pretending to be soldiers.

We needed extra wood for the fire, and it was promptly left at the door. The cottages were lovely, clean, and had everything we needed, with great service too. Marysville is a lovely town, and the location made it easy to get to Lake Mountains and the surrounding area. We’d love to return.

A couple of minutes’ walk from town, Peppercorn was peaceful and serene from the moment we arrived. It was beautiful, clean, well equipped, and well maintained. Communication from the host was excellent, and we’d stay here again.

I loved how private and quiet it was, with our own BBQ, and everything was spotlessly clean. The cottage had quality linens, a great bed, a wood fireplace, a spa bath, and a well equipped kitchen. The soaps, shampoo and conditioner, fresh milk, and fireplace already set up were thoughtful touches. It’s just a two-minute stroll into town. If only I could buy one of the two-bedroom cottages! Nothing but love for Amelina Cottages.
