1 Hotel Melbourne

I’d happily return to 1 Hotel next time I’m in Melbourne. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable, and the hoodie-style robes and filtered water tap were lovely touches. I did find the pillows too soft and flat for my taste, though firmer ones would be great. The riverfront setting is lovely, and Southern Cross Station is still an easy walk away. It’s a striking, modern new hotel. The staff outside were welcoming and helpful before I’d even gone in, and everyone inside was friendly and well trained. The place felt more like a luxury resort than a hotel. Thanks, 1 Hotel, for a fantastic stay!

The E-bikes were a real highlight: good quality, free to take out, and handy with smooth bike paths nearby. The event space was clean, comfortable and nicely presented for our function. Staff were kind, and getting around Melbourne CBD was easy. The hotel offers a fresh take on the usual hotel experience, and I'd recommend it if you want something comfortable with a slightly different feel from a traditional luxury hotel. The in-room breakfast was the letdown. My $60 meal had pasty, undercooked scrambled eggs, leathery bacon and dry pancakes. I also don't understand the extra $10 charge just to bring it up the elevator to the room.

The pool area stood out for me. It was cleverly set up for use in all kinds of weather and still felt like a resort. The rooms were cosy, stylish and comfortable, and I LOVE the hoodie robes. Botanical details bring warmth to a beautiful new property. Staff were friendly, well trained and clearly invested in their work. The whole stay felt carefully put together with guest comfort in mind. Looking forward to coming back to Melbourne.

The room was beautiful and really comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and we had a great time at the Crane bar. My partner and I stayed at the 1 hotel in Melbourne for Valentine's and felt so well looked after. The staff were amazing. We'd love to return. Thanks again to the 1 hotel team.
