The apartment is clean and acceptable, but the service and management ruin the experience. Communication is poor, replies are slow and unclear, and sometimes misleading. The checkout time is extremely early, and the customer service around it is very poor, with no flexibility or understanding. Parking is outrageously expensive and there’s no clear justification for guests. The pool is another letdown, it’s so cold that it’s unusable despite being advertised as an amenity. Management’s attitude and lack of honesty make this hard to recommend. Be careful and think twice before booking.

The apartment itself was nice, but the building doesn't really live up to its luxury, resort-style image. The entrance feels dark and creepy, with a strong cleaner smell. The facilities are smaller than average too, since they take up only half a floor alongside apartments. The heated pool is more of a wading pool and faces the huge car park for the casino next door. The gym is small, though it has enough functional equipment for most people. International students often use the lounge and library for group study. I shared photos that show the facilities more realistically than the travel websites do. If you're after luxury or resort-style amenities, I'd look elsewhere.

The entrance could feel more welcoming to different kinds of guests, but I had a great stay overall. I rented a room through air b&b, and the host was really pleasant to deal with.

For a place near a freeway, it wasn't too noisy, and I haven't had any pest problems. Staff were alright, and it's easy to get into the city, with Woolies and the market nearby. Still, a few things have been frustrating during the six months I've lived here. The parking structure used to break down regularly, sometimes four times in a week, and repairs could take about an hour. From my point of view, Wohr made an inferior structure. The accessible elevator has been broken since I moved in, and there's no good way for tenants to move large furniture or even a Costco shop. You have to book ahead to use the loading dock. It would suit someone better without a car who shops for themselves. Update, November 2024: Parking has become more reliable since maintenance was outsourced to a third party. The new building manager isn't as friendly and can be rude. Some units have ventilation problems. I had to knock on doors because of steak fumes, and the residents said they already had the range hood on max. Also, you have to force the window really hard to shut it.

The location made it easy to get a tram into the city or wherever we needed to go, and Southbank and the Casino are close by. The hotel was brand new and clean, with spacious rooms and all the amenities we needed. The staff were kind and very helpful, especially the assistant manager.
