A Cottage with a View at Tudor Ridge

We came looking for somewhere cosy on a cold weekend and found a really private, peaceful place. The views over farmland and the Cardinia Reservoir shift with the light and weather, and they're wonderful from the large reclining couches in the best room, which also has a gas log fire. There's a real fire in the front sitting room too, plus excellent central heating. The bed was warm and comfortable, and the huge two-person spa has a great view. The kitchen has everything we needed, and David was easy to reach and very helpful with questions.

The large windows, cosy bed and couches, fires, heating and self-filling spa made this one of my best getaways. I couldn't fault the place. It's close to walking trails and restaurants, but tucked away from the main tourist traffic, so it felt secluded while still convenient. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a breather from Melbourne’s hustle and bustle. I can’t wait to come back, and next time I’ll stay longer.

The cottage was beautifully appointed and exceeded my expectations. It’s quiet and secluded, yet close to everything, with spectacular views. Bring your food, because once you arrive you may not want to leave. I’ll definitely return to unwind here, and highly recommend it.
