Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank

The apartment was fantastic, clean, spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pool is good for two or three people, and the gym is decent for a simple workout, with kettlebells and free weights only. Lobby staff were amazing too, especially the very handsome Latino/Italian guy and lovely Rachel, who always looked after our needs. The location’s great: five minutes on foot to the crown and another 10 to Flinders Street and the city centre. Housekeeping needs more consistency. On the third day we went out and came back to find a “do not disturb” sign on our door and the room hadn’t been cleaned. We raised it with staff, but nobody knew who had put the sign there. It definitely wasn’t us, since we’d have locked the door behind us and seen it. The cleaners eventually came, but did a half-hearted job. We’d definitely come back, but please improve the housekeeping standards.

Good value for money, with an easy walk to the river. Come straight off the freeway and you’re there. The room was a good size and had everything you need, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. A great place to stay.

The pool and gym were a nice bonus, and the apartments are spacious, tidy, and in a great spot for the price. My only issue was how clearly I could hear the people walking around upstairs. Their footsteps echoed through my apartment. Besides that, I had a lovely stay in a beautiful building.

The apartment was roomy, and having a kitchen came in handy for a longer visit. Adina Apartments is right in the middle of Brisbane, so getting around was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful, though check-in took longer than I expected. The room was clean, but some of the furniture and decor looked dated. It isn't a luxury stay, but it's a comfortable, good-value option if convenience matters.
