Best Western Alexander Motor Inn

The retro feel really worked for me, like stepping into another time in a nice way. The rooms are older, but they’re kept in good shape, and ours was clean with a comfortable bed and tea and coffee provided. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the male owner gave great customer service. It’s a family-run place without fancy extras, just a solid stay. We also got a couple of coffee vouchers for Benny and Me, which was a lovely bonus. First visit, but I’ll book again next time I’m in Melbourne.

Alison made me feel welcome right from check-in, and when I needed help on Saturday, Kathy was kind and quick to assist. The staff were professional, friendly, and made me feel like part of the family. The rooms are clean and well serviced, with lots of charm despite the motel being a little older. The location is perfect and the price was very affordable. The ladies in the office really go out of their way to make guests comfortable. I’d recommend it to friends and family, and would book at Alexander motor inn again if I needed to stay in the city.

The room was spotless and the price affordable. It’s also well located, close to public transport and other amenities. Thanks to the staff and management for the great hospitality. I was very pleased with my stay and will definitely return.

Our family of four had plenty of space, with a queen bed in one room and two singles in another. The boys loved having their own room and enough room to run around. Everything was very clean, and the two nights felt worth it. Reception was lovely and check-in was quick. I’d book again when we’re next in Melbourne ❤️
