Best Western Plus Brooklands Of Mornington

A clock by the pool and a few small upgrades would improve the appearance, and it's a shame the beautiful heritage 1878 cottage is used for storage instead of breakfast, lunch or high teas. I could see it being leased as a cafe / restaurant. People appreciate the old charm, and the right chef could make a successful business that brings more accommodation customers too. There's a retirement village and school close by, and a local cafe could suit them, as well as local employee's and parents relaxing in the lovely outdoor area in the morning or afterschool. Bring the old girl back to life for everyone to enjoy. The hotel itself is very good value, with friendly staff, and works for families and budget conscious guests. It's a very quite spot off a main rd, near Main street and its shops and restaurants. There's also a gym, pool, spa and free car park on site. The studio room is spacious, clean and comfortable, with a microwave, minifridge, separate large shower, air-conditioning/ heating and cooling spilt system, toaster, kettle for tea and coffee machine. The air-conditioning was on when we arrived, which was especially nice on a hot summer day. I liked the traditional information booklet instead of high tech QR codes. Overall one of the better hotels, with affordable prices. The room could use a few tweaks to get a higher rating.

The on-site gym, spa and indoor pool are a great bonus, and it's an easy walk to the main shopping area and Mornington pier. Brooklands of Mornington has a resort feel, with lovely trees all around and the rooms / units set back from the major road, so it's really quiet. The rooms are clean and extremely spacious, each with their own court yard. We always get a warm, friendly welcome at check-in, and the staff are very helpful throughout our stays. We love staying here!

The kids had a great time in the indoor pool and spa, and we were greeted by lovely staff at check-in. Our room was clean and spacious, with heaps of towels and toiletries provided. It was an easy walk to the shopping centre, and a quick uber ride to the foreshore for dinner.

The indoor pool was nice, and the motel was clean and comfortable, with a decent modern feel. The Main Street is an easy 10-15 minute walk if you're moderately fit.
