We had a wonderful stay at Clarion Suites in Melbourne. The indoor pool kept the kids happy even on a cold Christmas day, and the staff, especially Elvie, were very accommodating. Great hotel, location and service. We’ll choose Clarion Suites again if we come back to Melbourne.

The river view was a great choice, with stunning views of the light show on the Southbank side. The location is perfect, and even though the railway line is nearby, double glazing in the bedroom windows keeps the sound out. I couldn’t fault the stay. It was fabulous to have a fully equipped apartment with hotel conveniences while travelling. The staff were delightful and genuinely engaging, and the Front Office always made time for questions. Someone even came by to welcome me, and I was offered a complimentary drink at the Bar. Housekeeping responded quickly to a request, and the linen quality stood out, especially the plushest towels I’ve found anywhere. I mentioned a broken LED light in the sitting room to Maintenance, and it was fixed straight away. Faultless.

Parking takes you straight into the hotel, and the location is perfect. Elvie and Neil at reception made our 50th Wedding Anniversary extra special. They went above and beyond and really put a sparkle in our day. We liked the A La Carte breakfast option alongside the Buffet. Our Tex Mex had perfectly cooked beef with an authentic taste. The staff were friendly and professional ❤️ I think we’ve found our go-to place in Melbourne.

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful, though we often had to repeat requests. We needed an extra towel each day for the third person in the room. The Wi-Fi was quite slow too. We stayed for four nights and had a lovely river view. The location was great, but nearby trains and road works made it noisy at times. The room wasn’t as clean as expected, and we had to ask the staff multiple times to separate the beds and make up the lounge bed.
