Brooklands Apartments

We had a lovely weekend away (8/11-10/11). The balcony was a nice spot to sit and take in the view, and the shops were an easy walk from here. The place itself felt modern, clean and really roomy. Great choice for a couple's getaway.

The only drawback for me was the number of stairs up to the Top Floor apartment. Once there, though, we had a great deck and BBQ, a very comfy couch and a king size bed. We stayed three nights, and the full kitchen came in handy after a good shop at Kitchen & Butcher on the main street. We enjoyed cooking some amazing dishes.

The balcony view was beautiful, and it was only a few minutes' walk to everything Healesville has to offer. We stayed two nights in the East Apartment. It was clean, modern and nicely furnished, with great heating for a winter getaway and a very comfortable bed. We'll definitely be back.

The west apartment was quiet and private, with big living room windows looking out to the mountains. It's only a minute's walk to the main street, but we couldn't hear the traffic. The steep driveway, lack of a laundry machine and slow wifi were the downsides. My husband and I stayed two nights on 15 & 16 Sep, and found it a very pleasant place with more pros than cons. It's a classy, modern, new apartment, great for a couple, with a king size bed. We think it's the best one can find in Healesville, and we'd stay here again when we come to Yarra Valley.
