We stayed in Kookaburra cottage, and I knew as soon as we arrived that we'd picked the right place. The huge windows look out over a stunning garden, and the balcony is lovely for tea in the morning or wine in the evening. When it gets cool, there's a great heater and couches you can sink into. The comfy bed is in a loft, where you wake up looking at the treetops. We added breakfast and it was delicious and plentiful, with a coffee machine too. Nothing feels overlooked here. I can't wait to visit again.

My wife and I had a lovely short stay in Kookaburra Cottage and would happily recommend it. It was spotless, and we couldn't fault the facilities. Thanks for a lively stay.

Kookaburra Cottage is stunning. The garden setting is gorgeous, and the attention to detail and facilities inside were first class. It exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. We'll be back.

The host is personable and accommodating, and clearly wants guests to have a memorable stay. The cottages are beautifully presented in a tranquil garden. Cafes, restaurants, gift shops and pubs are an easy walk away, and the Mount Dandenong Botanical Gardens are no more than 250 meters away. We'll definitely return.

We arrived late and found a note with clear directions, plus a torch to help us along the garden path to the cabin. Inside, the light was on, music was playing and the heater had been switched on. It felt so warm and welcoming. The hosts seem to have thought of everything, and we appreciated the quality and attention to detail. The gardens are beautiful, with lots of birds and wildlife around. We added breakfast and were glad we did. There was a generous, delicious basket for a big cooked brekky, plus bread, juice, muesli and yoghurt.
