We had very comfortable beds and easy access to nearby shopping centres and public transport. Breakfast was 5 star, so I’d highly recommend adding it to your stay. The room service and food were excellent, and they even left a bottle of sparkling wine for my mother’s birthday. The facilities were great too, with a pool, sauna, gym, and plenty of fresh towels.

The deep Japanese style tub was a highlight, and we had plenty of room in the Junior Suite, including a kitchenette with basic utensils for meals in the room. We appreciated the upgrade. Front of House and Brasserie staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate and replaced the morning coffee supplies as requested. The room was clean and comfortable throughout our four nights, and the mattress and base were both replaced while we were there. The Japanese style gardens, though, are in terrible disrepair from lack of maintenance, so the room views weren’t much to write home about. The property is looking tired and probably doesn’t meet 5 Star standards in 2025. Still, it was comfortable and good value, and we’ll stay again.

I checked out Monday morning feeling rested and pampered after a weekend between home moves. The bed was like a cloud, the bathroom spotless, and room service was delicious, 10/10. Service was outstanding from check-in, with genuinely helpful staff across the hotel. Special mention to housekeeping, who were especially personable. I’ll be recommending this as my go-to place to stay.

The pool was a hit, and we loved the coffee in the room, the friendly staff, and breakfast at the Brasserie. We were a family of four and appreciated the great location and large rooms. It’s an older property, and the shower could use some work. A towel hook behind the door was loose, and I wish cleaners would report those issues. There was a plaster repair, but the area hadn’t been cleaned afterward. We also needed a bigger saucepan, since we couldn’t cook pasta for four.
